adidas - Ajax Kit Launch
The new Ajax jerseys were designed with a special feature on the sleeve - Amsterdam’s city flag, a symbol of where the team is from and who they're playing for. So we created a jersey launch that championed the city.
We gave five iconic local businesses, all long-standing Ajax fans, the exclusive right to launch the famous red and white jersey. The 2015/16 Ajax kit brought to you by Kapsalon De Friends, a popular hairdresser; Van Dobben, a traditional snack bar; Tonton Club, an arcade; Rodie de Vree, a taxi driver; and New Draver, a Surinam restaurant.
